Wunderbare Mail an unseren Kurator Alexander Ochs von einer begeisterten Besucherin unserer Ausstellung „Dieter Mammel mit Flüchtlingskindern, ZEIG MIT WOHER DU KOMMST im Berliner Dom“, die noch bis zum 7. August zu sehen ist:

My name is Rhiannon and I am 26 years old from California. I have currently been working across Germany for the Disney company running tours, and I have considered Germany my second home when I first studied abroad here in Berlin in 2011. I always was amazed at the beauty of the Berliner Dom, but never had the opportunity to go inside until this last week when a friend came out to visit from California and I wanted to show him as much of Berlin as I could, in a short amount of time.

We stumbled across your display from all the kids that have found their way to Germany, and I stood there and watched the video on the display and seriously CRIED the entire time. I cannot tell you how touched I was to watch that, and how hurt I am for those kids and thinking about everything that is still going on. I am trying so hard not to bash my own country, but everything in America is just so dominated by the media and Americans believe what they see— and they do not get the chance to see the things that you all did.

It really did touch my heart so much. There are so many people at home I would love to share that with and help bring more awareness to what is going on. I cannot thank you all for the time and effort you put in to making such a powerful display. It is something I am surely going to remember for the rest of my life.
